The location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Alpena Civic Theater. the downtown area was very close to Alpena, express, and river walk. - the room was modern and nicely decorated. - We had an incredible river view from our room. - the bed was comfortable.

The stay at the brand-new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alpena - Downtown was really enjoyable. the hotel had fantastic views and a convenient location. You can easily walk to the Alpena Civic Theater. the room was nicely decorated and brand-new, equipped with a microwave, coffee/tea making facilities, and a fridge.

The rooms here are super clean and look like they were just unwrapped, plus the beds are so comfy you'll feel like you're sleeping on clouds ☁️.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Alpena was superb. The property and rooms were immaculately clean, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location was perfect, right off the main downtown street, with restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby. Ample parking was available right outside the entrance. The breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold items, ensuring there was something for everyone. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this hotel. it was a fantastic stay.

The pool area was nice. the location was marvelous and awesome, close to downtown with an overlook of the river, restaurants, bars, and the lake. - the room included a microwave, coffee/tea making equipment, and a fridge, which was a nice touch. - Having a tub in the private bathroom was a plus.
